Hi,
Go to http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp
Look for "Problem: IE always goes to http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx
instead of my homepage"

That may also kill the AutoComplete nag. I'm not sure.

Hope this helps,
Don

Ok, I've upgraded to W7 Pro 64bit, and have had consistently been asked to
set up IE8 every time I click on a link that opens a new IE8 window. I
also
keep getting asked if I want autocomplete enabled if I do a search. I
unchecked all autocomplete boxes but it doesnt help, and its getting
annoying
that IE8 wants to set up the search provider/accelerators etc as though
its
the first time its being opened.
Is this a bug? Is there some registry file that I should check on? Why
would anyone want to be constantly asked questions like this. It reminds
me
of a kid constantly asking a question until you finally give in just to
shut
them up.
I've got to the point where I want to suggest adding a check box for turn
off autocomplete and dont show this again checkbox for the setup window
for
IE8
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
