Hi,
I tried your link, which will display an error message from the google
servers.
Don't forget the the Preview launches new uri's from a Run dialog box. This
is not the same as 'navigating' from a web page or Address bar.
To view the google error page (Quirks rendering mode default), resize the
IE9 Preview window (known issue).
Test case.
1) Start IE9Preview
2) Select Page>Open menu
In the Run Dialog enter (or copy and paste)
www.google.com/url?url=55c5fdf5d4f54gv5sf4sfg465fggdf4gs55a7df5css.lo5554547554578=?
in the 'Open' field.
Press 'Ok'
3) Wait until the page completes loading. You will see 'Done[Document
Mode:IE 5] in the IE9Preview status bar, but the web page will appear blank.
(you can right click on the IE9Preview document window and use the View
Source context menu to view the page source).
4) Resize the IE9Preview window by 'grabbing' a side of the window. As you
resize the window the page will render correctly.
An inspection of Googles' page reveals that they have not used
html,body{height:100%}, blame the google coders.
<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;

div.c{margin-top:35px;margin-left:35px}

<script>function go_back() {window.history.go(-1);return false;}function

want to visit that page, you can <a href="#" onclick="return go_back();"

Post by saurabhWhen i try to open a long test url in ie 9 platform
preview(www.google.com/url?url=55c5fdf5d4f54gv5sf4sfg465fggdf4gs55a7df5css.lo5554547554578=?
) a blank page appears. On my hand the url is incorrect and ie should display
an error page
