Hello,
I did a stupid thing and bought a HP mini Netbook, because it's so slow
where I bought it told me to compress the hard drive. I did that and a black
screen came up with boot mgr compressed to restart press ctrl+alt+delete, i
did that and the same screen kept coming back. Where I bought it told me to
reinstal winxp and all drivers so I did. IE7 flashes 1/2 a second on the
screen, not sure what I did but I finally got it to work. Then I noticed the
same problem with ms works, that I was unable to fix so I reinstalled
everything again. Now I can't get either one of them to work again. I am able
to get on AIM so the wireless connection is working. Any suggestions on how
to fix this? I'm afraid to take it back where I bought it from!

Hi H,

That’s what a warranty is for.

IE7 - Try starting in no-Addons mode - Start>Programs>Accessories>System
Tools>Internet Explorer (no Addons)

If that works it is probably one of your IE Addons (any AOL software
installed apart from AIM?). Check with AOL for updates for their software
(toolbar.aol.com) and any other Addons that you have installed.

Regards.
