Somehow my Favorites folder has ended up in a sub directory of one of the
folders in Documents. I think somehow it must have been erroneously 'clicked
and dragged' there. Now every time it click Favorites in IE7 i get an error
message saying the folder has been moved or is in a different location. The
favorites box does not populate with any of the previously saved sites. Is
there soem way of reseting the Favorites folder location to stop it pointing
to this erroneous directory? Roger

Why not just drag the Favorites folder back to its default location (or
wherever IE is configured to find it). The default path is:

%userprofile%\Favorites

To where IE is configured to find its Favorites, get the TweakUI
powertoy from Microsoft and look under the My Computer -> Special
Folders tree node. Select the Favorites folder in the drop-down list to
see (and change) where the Favorites folder is found.
