IE8 and Favorites (how it doesn't work)

I just went to a website that said they don't support IE6 anymore.
Assume I'll be getting this answer more and more now.
If I upgrade from IE 6 to IE8 will I get the terrible Favorites viewing
rather than the IE6 Favorites I have.

IE8 Favorites drive me nuts. When I try to save something in Favorites I
have to
go though the "whole" list of folders rather than be able to zero in on a
specific folder.
I set my Favorites up as a file cabinet with many folders in each drawer.
So I'm
going up and down this very long list to find the right folder. Never had
to do that
in IE 6. I could directly to the drawer and then save in the correct
folder.
I do like IE8 otherwise.

Anyone know if there is any plan to go back to what worked better in IE6
and keep us customers happy ???

You will see the described behavior in IE7 and IE8.
