IE8 isn't safe or faster at all when I downloaded it my computer started
freezing and also running so slow and couldn't open websites like yahoo or
facebook and stuff like that and most of all had to restart my computer alot
because it was really massing up my computer so I unistalled it and am now
back to IE7 and love it better then IE8 Microsoft should of thought about
IE8 before they let anyone use it because if IE8 makes anyones computer crash
microsoft should be held liable and buy new computers for everyone who's
computer crashes because of IE8

Typing without any commas or dots doesn't make you look more serious.

I tried to agree, but IE8 crashed. As it does 5 or 6 times a day.

Do a little research on this NG. Search for Spybot.
There are known issues with anti-spyware programs and IE8.

Run without add ons. Once you are satisfied that it works properly then test
your add ones one at a time. You have to check with each add on supplier and
see if they have an IE8 compatible version yet.

Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet Explorer no add ons

Biggest culprit I've seen is Skype. Holy Moly does that cause IE8 to crash...

Hi John,

There is an IE8 compatible update from Skype available. If you are using
Win7 the Start>Control Panel>Troubleshooting applet will diagnose and list
all the Installed IE Addons that can be updated.

Regards.
