I am pleased to see all the changes and new features that are now available in the IE9. However, I'm curious...will there be a regular IE GUI like or similar to previous versions when IE9 is released? I find no back/forward button, which I use a great deal, and can only use the Page tab to try to navigate. Also, there does not appear to be way to add the MSN toolbar, which I also use, or Tools tab make other necessary changes. I was wondering if is being presented at this point in the PP is just a phase in the building process.

At the moment there is only this tech preview without a GUI.

BUT, in january MS get a patent about the new GUI:

Hi Jan,

We can only assume that IE9 Preview is in the Requirements Gathering and
Prototyping stage of the SDLC. The RTW release will probably also include
updates to the WebBrowser control so developers and ISV's can wrap whatever
GUI they like around it. There are already 5 MSIE browsers that offer
alternative GUI's.
Network administrators are not keen to have their time wasted 'fixing' user
preferences for color and appearance.

Regards.

Thanks, Rob. I was not sure if this was just preliminary to show off the new
stuff, or if it was to sort of introduce us to what we may see in the looks
of the future release. Most of the average users and clients I work with
are not Network admins, so options for some level of personalization will be
important to them. Just checking on my part.
