Infinit Loop on startup "res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm#,"

Hello,

IE8 Beta 2 starts in what seems to be an infinit loop.

I have set the start page to blank and it starts correct with "about:blank".

A second later it tries to redirect to
"res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm#,about:blank".

A moment later it tries to redirect to
"res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm#,res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm#,about:blank"
and so on.

This is under Windows XP SP3 Media Center Edition (I don't use Visual
Basic).

Please advise.

Kind regards,

Frank

Do a thorough check for malware, following all of the steps at one of these

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing programs like Messenger Plus,
whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince
you that you owe it to the author. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure
of.

Hi,
Which version of Windows? (Including SP level- SP1, SP2 ,etc.)
Which version of Internet Explorer?

Try these steps:
1. Clear the Temporary Internet Files
2. Check for an incompatible browser add-on.
Start Internet Explorer without add-ons from:
Right-click the IE icon on the desktop. Choose Start without add-ons.
or
Programs> Accessories> System tools> Internet Explorer (no add-ons)
If the problem goes away, you have an incompatible browser add-on installed.

For troubleshooting information see:

I had the same problem since yesterday. I have found the solution today!... Under the Adobe.com site at the following:

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp10

and then to: Adobe Flash Player 10 - Debugger Versions ... and just choose, depending what you are using.

It works wonderfully since... What a relief!!
Have a nice day.
