Fault Module Name: dapie.dll_unloaded
The DLL dapie.dll is associated with Download Accelerator Plus. Try
disabling the browser add-on for DAP from IE> Tools> Manage add-ons. If
unsuccessful with that, you may have to uninstall Download Accelerator Plus.
You might also check to see if there's an updated version of DAP which is
compatible with IE8.

Hope this helps,
Don

Hi,

The free version is installed as

Name: SpeedBit Video Downloader
Publisher: Speed-Bit LTD
Type: Toolbar
Version: 4.1.0.63
File date:
Date last accessed: Today, December 16, 2009, 1 minute ago
Class ID: {0329E7D6-6F54-462D-93F6-F5C3118BADF2}
Use count: 4
Block count: 0
File: tbcore3.dll
Folder: C:\Program Files\SpeedBit Video Downloader\Toolbar

You will find it listed in your Addons Manager as "SpeedBit Video
Downloader". Depending upon your setup options you may also have some
unwanted software installed along with it.

You should be able to find 2 items in your Programs and Features list

Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) by Speedbit Ltd
and
Speedbit Video Downloader by Speedbit ltd.

You should uninstall both or check back with speedback.com for the latest
version which they claim is compatible with Win7.
(Note you can click on the column headers and sort your list by Publisher to
select all installs by that publisher or (best) sort by install date so that
you can uninstall all of the other programs that came 'packaged' with the
freeware version.

The free version contains some unwanted "Extras".

The DAP component is not an IE Addon and does not appear in the manager. It
is a class of program called a shell Hook. This sort of 'download manager'
is not standard and effects not only IE but any application that connects to
the internet. Although not a direct threat, it can be exploited by other
programs to download malicious software (exploit).

Regards.
