I always wonder why IE-Series' appearance were all too complex.Although we
may cancel the menu we don't need now,it is not easy for us to repeat this
way again and again.I wish Microsoft company learn from Google's new explore
which in some way is not as good as IE,it's appearance is very simple and
nearly cover all the common use we normal users may most ofen use.
I always believe IE is a very good explore.I'm looking forward to seeing
better IE in the future!

What exactly do you have to repeat? You can turn the menu bar off forever
and life happy without it.

Google Chrome is really pure, there is very few buttons, and it's very fast.
I like IE but I must agree with Kirill here. But It's possible to have a
very similar interface with IE if you unlock the toolbars and change their
location to minimize the lost space.

That's what I did. I felt the menu bar took up too much space, and the
browser looked better with it off.

I think, if only judging from percentage of display area used for website
content, IE7 and 8 is simple enough.

Compared to chrome, there's line for the title bar, tabs, address bar.
Favourites bar, menu and status bar could all be disabled manually also.
Unused command buttons could be removed too.

Only, perhaps the Vista style colouring made those looks wider.

I hate Internet Explorer 7! I have some sites that I use that require me to
use it. I cannot find anything. I've looked in the Help and I went through
the tutorial. I want a way to make it look like it did before with all the
buttons it had before. It is at least tolerable that way. I generally use
Firefox because it's easier to use. The new setup has made it impossible for
me to use. Please give a way, or tell me how, to change the appearance and
whatnot to how it was before it was before.

Melinda,

Click "Tools" near the upper left corner in IE. Highlight "Toolbars" and
then select "Menu Bar".

That should do it for the most part.

You must be using XP? No IE help in Vista or W7 that I have found. <eg>
