I cannot figure out why on every website the background is white and the
buttons or interaction do not show up. This is not limited to just internet
explorer. It is hard to explain without pictures, but I will try to use
www.yahoo.com as an example.

The yahoo layout has interactive buttons when you scroll over them it opens
a bigger window with the other information relative to that button. The
buttons have different images and the color of the writing is black. Through
my browsers I see buttons but with text hyplerlink and no images. There are
a lot more annoying and frustrating problems. With some websites buttons
don't appear and they are usually the send or exit. I don't know why this
happens.

Hi,

Try,

Right click on your desktop and select Properties from the context menu.

Select a different Desktop Theme from the one you have currently selected
(Windows Classic/ Aero.... depends on your Windows version).

I think you may have selected an Accessibility option (High Contrast White).
