UPDATE TO MY POST BELOW (original post deleted): I uninstalled Internet
Explorer 8 using Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. Drag-and-Drop
functionality IS NOW RESTORED to my Bebo profile. I don't know what; but
SOMETHING is wrong with Internet Explorer 8. Again, once I reverted to IE 7,
I was once again able to rearrange photos on my Bebo profile by using
Drag-and-Drop. Microsoft, please fix that issue. Thanks. (And I hope I
posted this suggestion properly.)

Hello... On my Bebo profile (AOL's Bebo), when attempting to drag-and-drop a
picture from one place to another in a group of pictures, the cursor changes
to a 4-way arrow. I "click and grab" a picture and drag it to the position I
want, then release the mouse button...but the mouse pointer does not "drop"
the picture! Instead, it seems "stuck on grab." I can move the mouse
pointer around the screen...and the picture moves along, too. It never
"drops" the picture!
The only way to "escape" this behavior seems to be to click Cancel, or move
my cursor away from the picture area (eg, click the "reload" button by the
address bar). Exasperating! I just updated to IE 8 and don't recall this
issue with IE 7.
NOTE 1: The drag-and-drop functionality appears to be okay on Flickr; the
cursor changes to a 4-way arrow...I drag the photo, release the mouse
button...and the picture "drops" into place.
NOTE 2: Bebo's response--"Change to Firefox"--IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. In
my opinion, this issue may be related to poor programming on their web site,
or possibly a Java Script error of some kind?? Maybe?? I have no clue.
I haven't tried any steps to fix the issue, other than clearing cookies and
temp files, rebooting, closing and restarting IE 8. My Java is current
(Version 6 Update 13).
I'm using a Dell Dimension 4700 computer with Win XP SP 3, 3 GHz Pentium 4,
1 GB RAM, 86% free space on 160 GB hard drive; no memory or resource issues I
know of. Thank you!!
