I downloaded the IE 8 Beta this evening and it's a total disaster! Is there
an easy way to return to using IE 7? Please help! Thanks.

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
posting to this newsgroup, please.

Depending on your OS, uninstall it.

Hi,
Vista:
Look for "How to uninstall" at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949787

Windows XP:
Control Panel> Add or remove programs> check the "Show updates" box.
Look for Windows Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1/2 in the list.

Hope this helps,
Don

It just shows as an ordinary application in XP - no need to check "Show
updates"....

Just uninstall IE 8.0 and you will automatically revert back to IE 7.0

Uninstalling will simply revert the system back to IE 7.0. At least you are
now back to normal.
