I'm the current webmaster for the following site: www.iuccc.org. When I view
it in the latest IE9 Preview and view the page in the default IE9 Document
Mode, the Vimeo video on the homepage, which is contained within a DIV that
is hidden by JavaScript on load still displays. On all other browsers and
document modes, it disappears.
This may be an issue with the latest version of JQuery, which is used to
hide the DIVs that drop down. However, I wanted to bring it to the group's
attention because attempting to play the video before displaying the DIV that
it's located in will cause IE9 to crash. The other browsers, and even
previous versions of IE, will only display the video after the DIV it's
contained in is made visible.
If it's something that the JavaScript code is doing wrong and isn't IE9's
fault, please let me know.
