Z_Girl,
If you are using Windows Vista do the following:
1/ Open Control panel
2/ click on the program and features icon.
3/ When the program and features window opens look on the left of the window
under
'tasks' and click View installed Updates.
4/ Scroll down to the section marked 'Microsoft Windows'
5/ You should see Internet Explorer 8.0 Click on this to uninstall.
6/ Once uninstalled reboot your machine and IE 7.0 will be back.
If you are using Windows XP see the following link for details on removing
IE 8.0:

Post by Z_GirlDear Louis,
I was doing some auto updates, and I installed IE 8. I HATE IT!!
I like 7 better. How can I go back to 7? I tried installing 7 and it said I
had a newer version. So I tried several system restores, and they all say my
pc can't be restored and no changes were made.
please help me get 7 back, I like it so much better!
Thank you!
Post by PA Bear [MS MVP]Did you install WinXP SP3 after you installed IE8 Beta1?
Did you do a "clean install" of WinXP and then install IE8 Beta 1?
What update did you install on June 25th?
Do you see this update behavior only when updating via Windows Update
website, via Automatic Updates, or both?

Post by SSG Louis HoughI have read alot of the posts here. And here is my problem. I am
running
XP
and updated to IE8. Since the update back on June 25th NO OTHER updates can
be applied. They download but do no install. I went through the control
panel and add/remove programs. IE 8 is there but there is no delete
button.
How can i delete it?
